Lone Butte Club Report
Lone Butte 4H Club Report. 🍀 Hello my name is Amy Baechmann, and I am the club reporter for the Lone Butte 4H Club for the year of 2018.
The Lone Butte 4H Club is very excited to start working with their projects and get the year started off right.
On January 11th we had our first club meeting of the year at 6pm, and we welcomed a group of over 10 new members to our club, which is amazing! We now stand at 31 people in our club!
This year, we have a wide selection of projects that were chosen, including: Horse, poultry, dog, swine, photography, foods, and sheep. All project leaders are determined to get the year going. -The Horse Unit testing and placement is being held on the 10th of February, and all leaders are planning meetings. -Our leaders also organized the spaghetti dinner which was held on February 17th at our hall at 5:30, with a live auction, silent auction and much more...tickets were $10, and we had an amazing turnout despite the snowstorm, raising roughly $6000 dollars total!!! Wow!
-On February 1st we had our monthly meeting and our A leader introduced new and old members to Speeches, and what is expected, and what can be done. Our speeches are on the 11th of March and are from 11-3 at the Lone Butte Community Hall.
Our club is so happy to have all our new members, and we hope that all other clubs will have a great 4H year making new friends, working hard, and most of all having fun! We are looking forward to seeing you all at judging rally's and Show and Sale!🍀👍🏻🍀
